What does it do?
Picture Effect Magic by lodestar.com is a comprehensive photo editing app, which provides both the basic editing tools like cropping, rotating, as well as effects, colours, and borders.
Pros
- The first thing I noticed is that this app lets you pan and zoom your photos, as well as offering a full screen view. I really appreciate these features because most add-effect apps that I’ve worked with have very small preview screens, which often makes it hard to see the effects properly.
- It offers a broad range of effects; to name a few: Lomo, SuperMirror, Comic, Wave.

Cons
- The many effects that it offers (61 to be precise) might make it frustrating for some to find the one that you want. Perhaps a preview layout rather than a list of effect names, would be better.
- More sharing options, such as to Twitter, Tumblr, and other popular social networks.
Do you need it?
Picture Effect Magic contains the contents of what might normally take three different photo apps to offer. Even with its many functions, it’s an easy app to use. And it’s free. I don’t see why you shouldn’t get this app.
